Celebrating over two decades of research funding, the Music Festival for Brain Health is one of America’s most important fund-raising events focusing on brain disorders, with an historical total, including grants from the National Institute of Mental Health, surpassing $225 million. Last year alone, the event raised approximately $3.5 million to support the research to find cures for brain disorders. The 21st Annual Music Festival for Brain Health benefits One Mind Institute (“IMHRO”), and One Mind™, each partnering to support research, education, treatment, and to fight the stigma surrounding brain disorders.

Renowned actor Derek Jacobi stars with actor/director Richard Clifford and the acclaimed early musicians of Washington DC’s Folger Consort in a World Premiere event celebrating the 400th Anniversary of William Shakespeare’s legacy. Presented by the Folger Shakespeare Library and NapaShakes, this extraordinary production combines dramatic readings of Shakespeare’s Measure for Measure with excerpts from Henry Purcell’s chamber opera Dido and Aenaes to create a perfect depiction of the ecstasy and excesses of love.

The 28th Annual Festival of lights will be held once again, the day after Thanksgiving.
